Worship and Teaching

We have both modern and traditional styles of worship, But, because the church building is small, there always tends to be a relaxed, family atmosphere.

In terms of music we have both old hymns and modern choruses led by a small singing group and accompanied by an electronic 'technics' organ which is extremely versatile, with musical settings ranging from cathedral organ to 'honkey-tonk'.

The teaching element of worship is taken very seriously and there is a sermon or talk at all services. This may be based on the lectionary readings for the day or be a part of a series of sermons on a given topic or book of the Bible. The teaching is also supplemented by a House Group and Alpha courses.

The All-Age Worship service on the morning of the second Sunday of the month is usually taken by our very gifted Children's Worker, Katie Schad, who tends to get everyone involved, young and old alike, whether they like it or not!

Everyone is always welcome at all services!
